Azzurri's new range topping hand made 100% high modulus carbon fibre speed machine, the MEZZO, took us two years to create. Custom made by master craftsmen using elite materials it has a frame that weighs less than 900g, one of the lightest in the industry.
Using computer modelling we managed to create a race specific geometry that whilst being one of the lightest frames in the industry, is also one of the stiffest.
One of the secrets to Azzurri's frame quality is our ability to hand layer each carbon layer precisely in order to create stiffness around the Bottom bracket, down tube and rear chain stays. At the same time we were able to pattern the fibres precisely in the structures needed to create a comfortable, responsive ride, seamlessly combining both technologies without sacrificing performance or reliability.
